Layout or banner help! Please!

Talk about me spamming these days.... O.o Must be the fact that I am still off work for a few more days. ;-) Anyway, I need some help. :-P

I have played around with The Gimp a bit trying to figure out how it works. And in the process doing a few LJ-banners for my future layout. I am planning on using this one that I found in cartonage. I feel instantly in love with it. I still don't know if I am going to use the blue or the green... Ideas? Suggestions? I am leaning towards the blue one so far... I had that one in mind when I made some banners for myself at least. I thought I'd post them here, for some help towards which one looks the best. If you think I should use the font on one and the picture of one, that would be helpful to. Any combinations you think works, I am all ears. I am just trying to figure out what looks the nicest.

Pictures are from the game World of Warcraft of the characters I play, the tauren Huntress Skyfire and the gnome Caina Knuckleduster. Fonts are from Da Font.

I'd love to hear any suggestions!
