Hmm ok, that's odd. i really can't answer that besides one thing, -since I can SEE some of the html tags in the entry i can only assume you cope-n-pasted my code as I wrote it, but the one with the weird & l t ; etc symbols in it. Those signs written together is the ascii code for the little arrow (sörre än/mindre än) symbols. I only used them so that you could SEE the html tags in my reply (on the page, not in the comment email). They do NOT belong in a real HTML tag. ALL HTML starts and ends with one of those little arrow thingies. Just like an LJ-CUT. So. No strange symbols, just start with an arrow thingie and end with an arrow thingie, and keep the code within.
Optionally, if typing all these codes gets annoying, you can download a journal client program such as Semagic (http://semagic.sourceforge.net/) that can help you with posting images etc. It's like using a small Wordpad program that posts to LJ. I use this one, btw. Very handy. :3
Sorry if I'm confusing. I'm not very good a teacher of html stuffs. I'm just a basic user anyway ^^;;/
