He's not so popular here either

It is unbearably frustrating. Trouble is, what do you do? We could attempt to convince the House to impeach him - if he was convicted, my understanding is that we would end up with President Cheney, and that is certainly no better. There was a movement to impeach him too, but I don't think it got off the ground.

Also, considering how quickly things don't move at government speed, we're almost better off just waiting for the next election. I wish the Democrats had better (meaning white male) candidates to offer - I'm not convinced that a woman (Hillary Clinton) or a black man (Barak Obama) will garner enough votes to win, on the basis of gender and race alone. Because too many Americans really are that stupid and biased. (I hope I'm wrong. I really really do.) (Stephen Colbert is running. He'd do a better job than half the yahoos out there.)

Fox News is idiotic. I can't even bear to read/watch anything that comes from them. Seriously, the last time I watched Fox News, I think I lost a few IQ points.

America is a very very divided nation right now. I write to my congresspeople, and I know my friends do too. We're not all of us crazy. True Majority (http://www.truemajority.com/) is a grassroots group dedicated to making America better - getting out of Iraq, actually doing something about global warming, health care, etc. I'm a member, and sometimes, it actually works.
