The teachers were all for it in my Catholic school but there was a boatload of hippie teachers. My cousin fangirled Tim Neeley like whoa.

People were more up in arms about a Jewfro-wearing guy in a Superman t-shirt. plaid pants and Keds with pompoms on them playing a Christ figure than they were about a long-haired guy in a robe playing teh Christ.
